The Group's principal activities are producing and distributing specialty fertilizers, iodine, lithium and its derivatives. It has an international distribution network of 20 subsidiaries with commercial offices, warehouses and blending plants. Its production facilities are located in the Atacama Desert in Chile's I and II Regions. Its main products include brines composed of boric acid, potassium sulfate, lithium chloride, magnesium chloride, butyllithium, lithium hydroxide, lithium carbonate, potassium nitrate, sodium nitrate, sodium potassium nitrate; caliche ores composed of iodine and sodium sulfate; and borate minerals such as ulexite. Other products include ind ustrial chemicals such as industrial sodium nitrate and potassium nitrate used in the manufacture of glasses, ceramics, explosives, pyrotechnics, among others.
